Putting people at the center
In our 2025 Year in Review, we celebrate the impact of leaders who show what's possible when people come first.
Our mission is to help animals and end animal testing, but this cannot be achieved without people, therefore the people must come first.
We need to have genuine conversations – whether that conversation lasts minutes, days, or years. Only then can we ensure that what we are building will meet the needs of local communities.
Democracy only works when people see themselves in it… this means meeting young people where they're at, recognizing that engagement looks different for everyone, and helping them find their own lane to participate beyond just voting.
At the centre of our work are the women and girls we represent, and act on behalf of, in Australia and globally. Everything we do revolves around them.
We're doing this work to affect people's lives in a positive manner. Every piece of legislation or ordinance should have a positive benefit to as many people as possible.
Our work is all about identifying people who can make a difference and helping them make a difference.
Putting people at the center has been one of our product principles since the early days of NationBuilder. But it's more than a product principle or even an ethos: it's a way of life.

Leaders use NationBuilder to organize communities in almost every sector in over 100 countries. Millions of people interact with our platform every year and we're excited to share some trends we're seeing across our customer base.
Our global partner ecosystem
From Canada to the UK to Australia, our partners supported organizations to grow their communities, raise more money, and deliver meaningful, long-term impact around the world.
We always need to see what we do through the lens of the people we're trying to reach.
Behind every click, donation, signup, or action is a real person who wants to feel seen, respected, and part of something meaningful.
Tech is a great enabler and force multiplier, but ultimately it's people that drive organizations and campaigns forward.

..means listening first, designing with—not for—communities, and staying accountable to the people most affected by our decisions.
...is the core ethos of how we build our software... We're collectively driven by how useful we can be to the individuals, organizations, and movements that rely on us.
...means we need each other to live, work, and take action towards the dreams we have yet to realize.
...is how you build communities and movements that can actually last beyond any one person.
...means that software only matters when it creates new possibilities for the people who use it.
…means doing whatever is in my ability to make the tools work for the people and not the other way around.
…is about doing your part to make your own little corner of the world look more like the world you wish existed everywhere.
...means knowing that building the thing is nothing without the people who use it to drive change in their part of the world.
